While fencing at Penn State University, Catherine Case Szarwark had the opportunity to work with and witness the magic of two legendary coaches, Emmanuil Kaidanov, fencer extraordinaire, and football coach Joe Paterno. Catherine Case Szarwark observes that both of these coaches had a specific vision that they imparted to their athletes.
