I have been thinking about this in the past month. I no longer have the conditions to give the attention this blog reserves. I will soon start my career abroad as a nurse and i wouldn’t be able to update as i should.

Well, these are some irregular times for me. I know i haven’t paying the deserved atention this blog deserves, but theres so much going on my life right now.

As you know, i changed server lately, i finished my nursing degree and i have been looking for job. Job that i’ve found in the United Kingdom.

So if everything goes well, i will be starting to work in a Brithish Hospital in a month or so.

I had to take care of a bunch of paperwork for my job application and i am still taking care of my Nursing and midwifery Council application, and there are some translations needed to be made…. ahhh. SO much paperwork… lol

Well, these past days i have been working on the server change. My previous one was expiring and i wanted to have more space and pay less while keeping a good performance.

After some search through several review sites i found 2 that seemed to offer all i wanted.

Since i have severall websites i decided to make the move in phases. The first phase was to upload the files to the new host after downloading a backup. This took me 5-6 hours! Then the next phase was to re-configure my 2 main sites (this one and my forum). Then the third phase was to setup the new DNS settings for these 2 sites. The next step is to complete the move on my other sites which will take me several days.

Google wants to buy one of the sites of the moment…. again!

Google wants to buy Twitter according to techcrunch.  The aquisition value is unknown but some say it is around 250 millions in money and in stocks.

A few months ago facebook tried to buy twitter for 500 million and failed… What reasons can google present to be able to buy twitter for half of that price?

So far, none of the parts involved have talked about it, but the potential of twitter to become the world’s best real time search database is reason enough for google to want that power.
