New Blog Design and Considerations
Good evening fellow bloggers! 
This has been a busy day for me. I have spent the last hours configuring the new design for the blog and updating the wordpress version of this blog.
A new version of the wordpress 2.5 has been released. It is in the RC-2 Version now. Still in beta though. But still, i decided to upgrade the blog. First i did a full backup of my hosting (a thing that i haven’t done in a long long time). Downloaded a backup of the blog’s database, checked for compatibility issues with some plugins i run here, and deactivated the problematic ones. Then i did the upgraded with no problems at all.
The main reason i upgraded the blog was that the theme i am currently using (options themes) is fully functional with wordpress 2.5, and has some issues with version 2.3
I have been eager to use this theme for some time now, and this was the right time to do it.
I really like the new design of the blog. I was getting a little bit bored with the previous one (structure theme, which is still a great theme). This theme gives me more Options to play around ;), but due to the great number of options it will take some time for me to reach perfection. The next thing i will do, when i finish writing this post, is to make a new header. Right know the header says “Options Theme bla bla bla”, and that can’t stay there
So, now, i ask for your cooperation. If you see something out of place, errors, or something similar please post a comment here or mail me using the contact page. I would appreciate your cooperation
While i was working on the updates i was thinking what would be the future of this blog. I mean, things are going well. I have a decent amount of traffic, my alexa score is reaching the 100,000 mark :D, but know a question appears. Should i move the blog from being a subdomain of my main website (Dahh.net) to a independent .com domain address or should i stay like this?

Yes.
I have to make some changes and then i change. Hope i make that this week.

Don’t have big colors and things like that but i think it’s simple and could work very good after i make my changes.
But i’am with some doubts because i don’t know if it is compatible with wordpress 2.5.
What do you think?

hum… i think you can find better ones, although it is a nice theme. But it depends on what how you plan to mod the theme or what else you have in mind for it.
on the site it says that it is compatible up to wp 2.5
but you could use theme test drive to configure the theme and see if everything runs fine, but your only you will see the theme:

I use “admin theme preview” to do the same that plugin does but i don’t have tried wordpress 2.5 yet. But i will do an test instalation to see.
I will search again before i make one definitive choise but for what i see i like this. I also like some others but they have some negative point i don’t like.

well, i recommend this blog theme or any other from justinadlock, the creator of this theme. You can find some theme reviews on the worpdpress themes category.
also, i recommend you to visit bloggeries.com an browse the themes category. you will find hundreds of themes there.
but what are you into? 3 column? a magazine style theme?

I prefer one with 3 columns. If you have some sugestion make a visit to my blog where i have one small gift to the person who suggest the theme i choose.
