Sunday Link Love

Hope you are all having a great weekend and enjoying some nice days on the beach.

This was a nice weekend for me, i went out with my friends and we had great night hehe, but now im back for work, i have more than 100 mails to read and respond but im feeling lazy and bored, so i will be playing a bit for now :p . Before that, i want to give some links for interesting articles that are worth reading:

RockFuse -Simple ways to find out what your readers want you to write about

Problogineer -Social Media Marketing(SMM) What Are The Benefits

TheGermz -How you can Massively Jumpstart your Website’s traffic.

Piis Biscoit -Blogger Unleashed is Out of Business!

And the discussion of the Week: Ian from Thoushallblog created a list for the best places to get a quality backlink, and a certain blog was featured first because of its PR 7. Now the owner of that blog, which, btw is John from  one mans blog, created a post called “Should i allow comments on this blog?“, mainly Jonh was bitching about the traffic he received from Ian’s blog. I commented there saying that he shouldn’t be so restrict in approving comments (read his rules to see).

But… it is his blog and he makes the rules. He is free to select what comments to approve or not, but with that post we could see how disrespectful he is with readers that come from Ian’s blogs or any other source. He probably lost some excellent new readers….

Off course Ian wrote an answer to Ian’s post and you can read it here.

Now john wrote a new post complaining about the rising of spam comments (176000+), even with the recent change in the top commentators (no follow) he sees an increase in spam comments. Perhaps a captcha or math anti spam feaure could help reduce a few dozen spamm comments? I

m just guessing… After all, all help we can get would be great. 176000 spam comments is no joke…but …

i wonder how many weren’t real spam comments?

LOL I was expecting you to mention it on your blog but then it’s worth a mention, isn’t it? It was a real fun doing it but alas he wasn’t coming at all.

Perhaps he is too busy moderating 176K+ of comments..:-). Thanks for the shout, buddy.

Well done on spreading the link love. I think it is a great way to build a network of loyal supporters.
