Cpxinteractive - Final Considerations

Posted by admin On May - 14 - 2008

If you don’t remember, a week ago, i started to analyse Cpxinteractive, and i decided it was time to show you some results.

But first, a short review about their site.

If you are interested in joining them, them you must know that after registration you will need to verify your site. They require that you create a file with your email address, so that they can visit that file and see that you are the owner of the site. Well, i guess they could have a more sophisticated way to validate a site, but i guess it works for them. The process usually is finished in a couple of days, and you will need to do this every time you want to add a new site.

After having your account is approved you can login to your dashboard. You will see that some nice graphics reports are available to you, showing how was your progress in the last days. Sadly, i can’t show you some images because my graphical reports are showing no data for the last days.

One thing that i don’t like (besides the low cpm earnings :evil) is that you dashboard is not that user friendly… when you have more than one site… but hey…. maybe im just dumb lol.

Now for the interesting part…. or not….

The results for the blog are somewhat poor, probably because this was a slow week for the blog in terms of traffic.

So, what i can say is that for 1000 impressions, cpxinteractive paid an eCPM of $0.12! That’s 12 cents!

I was really hopping that the earnings would be better because the main source of traffic of this blog comes from USA.

So, first obvious conclusion: It is worth it for high traffic sites only.

Now let’s see my overall results.

Besides this blog, i have been using CPXinteractive ads on another site, with better results but still, poor in a global point of view.

So far, my sites have delivered a total of 84,858 impressions, generating 1,341 and 23 conversions generating me a total of $31.60 with an eCPM of 0.37. Nothing big deal….

Take note that the 23 conversions contributed for the majority of the earnings. I had conversions that paid $5.

The eCPM by country of origin seems to vary. I had eCPM of 0.40 from spain, 0.17 and 0.35 from USA, and so on. don’t know how they calculate the value of each visitor.

So final thoughts? i will continue to use cpxinteractive ads on this blog for a while longer, or until a valid solution appears. But i will definitely continue to use these ads on my other site. The volume of traffic compensates the low eCPM, and from time to time a click generates a conversion :)

Want to try them yourself? Go to Cpxinteractive site.

Btw, do you know some better paying sites that deliver cpm ads?

CpxInteractive: Experimentation phase 1

Posted by admin On May - 2 - 2008

well, im going back to my experimentations with some publishers, and i decided to start with cpxinteractive.

Cpxinteractive is a well know advertising site that delivers CPM and CPA ads. You probably have seen their ads showing around many sites, and now on this blog to.

I have been working with this company for several months now on dahh.net with almost decent results. I say almost decent because the eCPm is extremely low, mainly because the visitors come from low paying countries such as Portugal or Brazil. If it weren’t the attractive and interactive banners that convert really really well, my earnings would be minimal.

So, i have decided to test drive cpx ads in this blog because my main source of traffic comes from United States. I will run the ads for a few days and then i will write a full review of the company with the results i had.

Contest craziness!?

Posted by admin On March - 20 - 2008

Well, i was giving away 3000 entrecard credits, but for some reason, i only got one application! The deadline has passed, i even extended the the deadline but no more applications were made. I blame my self. I haven’t advertised the contest like i should, but, there is another thing. The prize. Maybe 3000 Entrecard credits don’t make a good prize to give. I agree with this. Maybe if i put a cash prize i would have the success has the first contest i ran here.

So, the contest is officially cancelled! i thank Louis for his application, but im sad to say that the contest is over. well, at least you get a link to your site :)

But, anyway back to “blaming spree” lol, i also blame those crazy contests! Those super contests, that grab a lot of sponsors and gather a total prize of $1000 , $2000 or even $12000!!!! They ruin the competition!!! or not!! :p
