Well, entrecard has been quiet since their change on how much advertising cost on a certain blog is calculated. Which in my opinion is not the best for entrecard. But today i received an email with some updates.

The new added option, and a long waited option, is the ability to add more than one blog to your account. It was kind of stupid not being able to add more blogs to our account. And as a bonus, adding at least one more blog to your account you will be automatically entered on a 15000 entrecard credits contest.

Entrecard has also released the Entrecard official ebook. Download it and see some strategies that can help you bring the maximum of entrecard.

They also have a new homepage.  It automatically  posts links from your posts every time you update your blog, and lets you see what others bloggers have been writing on their respective blogs.

Btw, if you write a post regarding the official book(with a link to it) and mention the “add new blog” feature, you will win 2000 EC. You just need to write a comment here and provide a link to your post for they to confirm.

Well, i was giving away 3000 entrecard credits, but for some reason, i only got one application! The deadline has passed, i even extended the the deadline but no more applications were made. I blame my self. I haven’t advertised the contest like i should, but, there is another thing. The prize. Maybe 3000 Entrecard credits don’t make a good prize to give. I agree with this. Maybe if i put a cash prize i would have the success has the first contest i ran here.

But, anyway back to “blaming spree” lol, i also blame those crazy contests! Those super contests, that grab a lot of sponsors and gather a total prize of $1000 , $2000 or even $12000!!!! They ruin the competition!!! or not!! :p

If you don’t know The university blog, then you have been missing a great blog. TUK delivers quality articles about making money and has always up to date content. His blog is well organized and i just love the blog theme he is using. One day i will have a design like that! lol

another supoer contest is the one at Winningtheweb. The blogger managed to gather a total of $12021!!! Amazing! The prize list is big, so if you want to see what you can win check their contest page. To participate you just need to subscribe their mailing list. Again, you can rise your chances of winning by doing tasks that will give you more entries. The contest runs until 31st of march!

If you haven’t heard, and if you use google adsense, then you must know that google changed the adsense TOS. Now, all publishers are required to have a privacy policy. And many of you will search for a free privacy policy generator. I sure did searched :p

Here is a short paragraph regarding this:

“You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your users’ browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management.”

I will “write” (more search thant write lol) a proper privacy policy for my sites. Google doesn’t specify a time frame, or what consequences publishers may have. I honestly don’t think they will terminate the account without warning you, and let you fix the issue…

This ain’t a big deal to small publishers like me , that have only a handful of sites. But for those Big publishers with thousands of sites, this can be a pain in the ass…

It seems that luck is on my side this week. I have been receving interesting emails that make my hours of effort worthwhile and somehow, i earned 3000 entrecard credits.

So far, i haven’t received any email regarding this, and i have 3000 credits just sitting there, waiting to be used…
