free privacy policy generator

Posted by admin On March - 3 - 2008

If you haven’t heard, and if you use google adsense, then you must know that google changed the adsense TOS. Now, all publishers are required to have a privacy policy. And many of you will search for a free privacy policy generator. I sure did searched :p

Here is a short paragraph regarding this:

“You must have and abide by an appropriate privacy policy that clearly discloses that third parties may be placing and reading cookies on your users’ browser, or using web beacons to collect information, in the course of ads being served on your website. Your privacy policy should also include information about user options for cookie management.”

Tnx.net – Make Money selling links

Posted by admin On February - 27 - 2008

One of the most profitable ways to make money blogging is selling links. But some times it may be hard to find someone that want to by a link from you. The best choice is to have a “middle man”. TNX.net acts as the “middle man”, and with surprisingly efficiency.

You may sell links not only to the main page, but for all pages of your blog/site that are indexed by TNX.

How does it work?

You just need to register, add your website (sadly, they don’t accept Portuguese websites), place the code where you want the links to appear and wait for your website to be accepted.

Auctionads Ends and merges with Shooping ads

Posted by admin On January - 11 - 2008

Long time ago i speculated the ending of auctionads, and yesterday i received an email from them announcing the merge between Auction ads and Shoppingads.

The difference now in shoppingads is that in order to benefit from CPC ads you will need to be select for premium publisher, and even if you are selected you will only get CPC ads from US and CAnada traffic, every other country origin will have CPA ads. If you are a standard publisher then you will have to “make a living” with CPA ads only.

Kontera – Content Link Publisher

One thing that a webmaster needs to keep in mind is not to concentrate all his revenue sources. The key is to diversificate and experiment. If a webmaster concentrate for example on google adsense, someday he may have a really bad surprise with an email from google telling that his account was suspended…. From a day to another the only source he had was gone! Finding and making profitable the new source of income can be hard.

Widgetbucks started delivering international cpm ads today.

I have received an email regarding this:

Dear WidgetBucks Publishers,

As mentioned in our email at the end of November, today we have successfully launched International CPM ads to be included in our Widgets.

We are now serving CPM ads to the non-U.S./Canada traffic. This will give you revenue, per impression, for your site visitors who come from other countries. This is designed to help publishers who have a blend of traffic from a variety of countries.

Widgetbucks delivers International CPM Ads

Posted by admin On November - 29 - 2007

i have just received an email from widgetbucks telling about CPM ads for international traffic:

Here’s an upcoming feature. In early December, we will start serving CPM ads to the non-U.S./Canada traffic. This will give you revenue, per impression, for your site visitors who come from other countries. This is designed to help publishers who have a blend of traffic from a variety of countries.

Our system will do the geo-location for you, determining where the visitor is coming from. Then we’ll either show the regular pay-per-click widget (to visitors from the U.S. and Canada) or show an ad that pays per impression (to visitors from other countries). You’ll see a new column, called “CPM Revenue” in your earnings reports.

Google adsense changes the clickable are of ads

Posted by admin On November - 19 - 2007

Google changed the area that users can click in the ads. Now, you can only click on the title or the address. the body not clickable now.

(credit for image: tolnetwork.com)

Is this any good? well, for advertisers it must be, the acidental clicks ratio will decrease substantially, and what about publishers? where, Tolnetwork, said, since google changed this, his results increased a lot.

What happened to your clicks? Have they increased or not?

Shoppingads banning members?

Posted by admin On November - 11 - 2007

For about a week, the shoppingads ads aren’t appearing on my site. and im not the only one that is happening this. Several webmasters have been complaining the same.

iS shopping ads banning publishers? if so, why don’t they send an email letting them know they have been banned?

There is no feedback, we still can login to our account, see stats, create codes,  change our profile, create reports, and no sign of being banned…

Have this happened to you? have you had any feedback?
