I know most of you look for great wordpress templates. There are hundreds if not thousands of wordpress templates around., but most of them suck! From time to time we see a new quality release for free, but rarely we see a release of a magazine style template.
I personally want this kind of template for this blog, but all the good ones are expensive maybe one day ill buy), but today i found 3 free wordpress magazine templates.
Let me tell you right now that the first two look great, but they fail terribly on my blog. If you visited my blog in the last minutes you would noticed that i have been “playing” with templates.
1- The morning after This is a great looking theme but, to be compatible with wordpress 2.3 you need to edit a few lines. But the worst of it, is that it is not widget compatible!!! and basically it’s only a 2 column theme…

2- Mimbo Magazine This theme is also great looking! but again i can only write about the negative aspects. The letter is to small, but the main problems are that in order for it to work properly you will need to do a lot of editing!
The first time you view the template you will see your old posts showing. you need to edit in code what you want to show on front page, and even that you will see that not all options are good for you….
This is my own opinion. These are great looking themes that have in my point of view lots of problems to be solved. Im sure many of you will do a great work with these themes.
