I have been using this week, a software called Comment Sniper. It is one of the best software that i have downloaded lately.

What is Comment Sniper?

Comment Sniper is a free software that allows it’s user to keep track of new posts of your favourite blogs. You just add the desired blogs to the tracking list (i have around 10 so far), choose the scanning interval (i use 5 minutes), and the software will alert you with a small popup on your lower right screen corner, every time it detects a new post on any of the blogs you added to the list.

I have found this site (don’t remember where sorry!) 2 days ago, and i have found it very interesting.

What this site does is simulate the human vision.

Confused? Don’t be. It’s actually very simple.

They have a program that analyses an image sent by you, or a website. After the analysing is complete, it will show a heat map that tries to simulate how the human eye will look at your image or website!

Well, i was giving away 3000 entrecard credits, but for some reason, i only got one application! The deadline has passed, i even extended the the deadline but no more applications were made. I blame my self. I haven’t advertised the contest like i should, but, there is another thing. The prize. Maybe 3000 Entrecard credits don’t make a good prize to give. I agree with this. A few weeks ago i found an interesting post about “Anti marketing design“.

Anti marketing design are sites that use ugly designs, but manage to be very successful.

The example used was Plentyoffish.com, a site that makes more than $10000 each day with google adsense. According to the founder, Markus Frind , one of the main reasons of this success is exactly the ugly site design.

He evens gives examples of other ugly sites that are very successful such as myspace, craiglist, google.

Markus Frind says that sites with an ugly design tend to generate more revenue, build better brands, and are more fun to participate.

One of the most profitable ways to make money blogging is selling links. But some times it may be hard to find someone that want to by a link from you. The best choice is to have a “middle man”. TNX.net acts as the “middle man”, and with surprisingly efficiency.
