Prizee – Play and get prizes

A fellow blogger from webvicio.com (a portuguese blog similar to this) gave me a link for a site in where you play for free and can earn prizes. This site is called Prizee.

The site has several games to play. Each time you play you can earn a certain amount of money. That money can be used to purchase prizes.

The good news about this site is that it is easy to get money, and the prizes don’t cost that much. I personally want a prize that costs only 7 bubz (the game currency)!

No more Alexa redirect

Finally, Alexa decided to finish with redirections.

Some bloggers speculated that by making every link from their blog to be redirect through alexa site would help lower the alexa rank. There was no proof that this really worked, but many bloggers insisted in using it.

But, in the past days, alexa made every redirect to give a 404 error code.

I tottaly agree with this. I dindn’t like when i visited a blog and noticed that it was using the alexa redirect. Put your self on the eyes of a potential advertiser. You visit a blog, and see that it as a good alexa rank, but then you find it is using the famous redirect! What would you think? How fake is the rank?

How to check Keyword rankings

On my previous post, i showed you what were the keyword rankings for my new mini sites.

But how do i know the rankings?

After a few questions i decided that it would be good to mention what tool i used to check keyword rankings.

The tool i use is: Keyword Position check from SEOCentro.

It delivers fast results for the keywords research from google, yahoo and msn, and it even tells you how related the keyword is with your domain, Url and page title.

Microsoft adCenter offers $50 – Free advertising

Good news today to anyone that wants to advertise his/her site or just want to look how ppc advertising works.

A few days ago i stumbled with an interesting site called Focial.com

This site is an auction site specialized in selling advertinsing for your blogs (but not only that!). If you know ebay, than all that was said about ebay its in focial.com except focial.com is a niche auction site.

What can you do there:

  • Buy and sell advertising
  • Advertise for guest bloggers and become a guest blogger for someone else.
  • Focial has paid and free listings
  • Advertise your graphics skills
  • Sell anything else that could help bloggers

Subvert and profit increases payouts!

One of the most interesting money making sites is subvertandprofit. If you don’t know what subvertandprofit is then check this review

Recently they have changed the terms to our benefit :)

The have increased the payouts for it’s members. Now, instead of the 50 cents per task, they will pay us $1 per task!

This sites is very interesting and i absolutely recommend that you sign up. You won’t get many tasks but you will reach payout fast and it’s another source of income. And every money earned is always welcome!

Domain name – With dash or not?

Often when we create a new site , mini-site or blog we want to get a name for it. And the best name to choose is a name that will have the keywords in it. Why? Because this will help with your SEO and search engine rankings. But how will you use the domain (or sub domain)? Will you use a alltogetherdomain.com or a all-together-domain.com?

Search engines can have trouble reading the domain keywords, however, Google says that it can split your words very well, but we can’t be so sure. So a little trick that i read about is to use google to find if your domain name will need to use dashes or not.
