What’s wrong with PayPerPost?

Posted by admin On January - 7 - 2008

I don’t know about you, but there has been some time that PPP is low on offers. After the introduction of Real Rank i had an increase of offers. But it was for a short time. And now every day i login to PPP only to see red offers. Almost all offers require a Google Page Rank, and no Real Rank. Even the small paying offers ask for PR.

What does this mean? Advertisers still prefer to use PR?

In my point of view, advertisers still prefer to use PR instead of real rank sadly.

I have read some bloggers complaining about the same situation. Is this happening to you?

  1. The holidays may be in part responsible. It may take advertisers a minute or two to adjust to RealRank. I think PPP is a great internet business model and I will continue to watch this evolving story.

coincidence or not, a few hours after publishing this post several offers appeared on PPP!
but imho advertisers had enough time to adjust to real rank. This is just a reflection of the dependency that advertisers have on PR.
I have noticed that new offers have been decreasing since mid december, let’s see how this goes.

Hmm, Christmas and New Years may have played a role during these usually slow times..

Yes, that in fact can bring down the amount of offers available, but the changing to realrank is some what slow, as i see many advertisers using PR, instead of real rank that in my opinion is way better and more accurate.

I have also experienced the “no offers for weeks” issue, but my blog recently got a PR and I have received around 50 new opportunities right now. :)
